We deeply regret the distress this incident caused our shoppers and the PWD community,&quot; NBS said.</p><p>&quot;While we do not tolerate theft or physical violence, we believe every situation on our premises must be handled with care, restraint, and respect. We are fully cooperating with authorities, government agencies, and mall management,&quot; it added.</p><p>SM North Edsa also issued a statement regarding the incident.</p><p>&quot;We regret the incident involving the male PWD customer that happened in the store of one of our tenant partners. The concerned security guard has been recalled to the agency while a thorough investigation is ongoing,&quot; SM North EDSA said.</p><p>The NCDA emphasized that legal processes must be followed while respecting human dignity.</p><p>&quot;All persons, including those with disabilities, are equal under the law and responsible for their actions.
