Vidal, Senate Social Media Unit </span></span></span></div><p>MANILA — As the House prosecution nears the end of its presentation of the first article of impeachment involving confidential funds, members of the panel said Wednesday they were considering dropping the presentation of Article 3, which concerned the alleged bribery of Department of Education officials.</p><p>“Ayaw namin ang mahabang hearing… Kung sa palagay namin ay matibay na yung mga ebidensya namin ay pupwedeng mabawasan yung mga artikulo na aming ipepresenta,” House prosecutor Rep. Joel Chua said during a lunch briefing. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/sara-duterte-impeachment-trial">Impeachment Trial of Sara Duterte</a></div><p>Chua, however, said the prosecution was certain to present the second article of impeachment concerning the Vice President’s alleged unexplained wealth.</p><p>“Dahil ito naman talaga inaabangan ng lahat ng mga kababayan natin,” he said.</p><p>The prosecution earlier announced that it aimed to finish presenting evidence for Article 1 by next week, September 9.
