De Ramos is the presiding judge of Quezon City Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 98, which issued a warrant for Vice President Sara Duterte&rsquo;s arrest over grave threats.<div><a class="fr-strong" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/9/4/sara-duterte-arrest-warrant-grave-threats-1442">READ: Sara Duterte faces arrest warrant for grave threats case</a></div>In early August, the Department of Justice filed three counts of grave threats against Duterte over her alleged threatening remarks to President Ferdinand &ldquo;Bongbong&rdquo; Marcos Jr. and his relatives in November 2024.Duterte&rsquo;s case is heard before Quezon City RTC Branch 98, which de Ramos has presided over since March last year.She was shortlisted for the Branch 98 vacancy by the Judicial and Bar Council in July 2024, appointed by the president on March 25, 2025, and took her oath three days after.De Ramos was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1996, with an address in Lucena City, based on records from the Supreme Court e-library.Records of her 2006 disbarment case, which was dismissed in 2009, suggest that she engaged in private practice before being appointed as prosecutor of Quezon City sometime in mid-2000s.In 2022, de Ramos ventured into <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iRNUQCDtxE">filmmaking</a>. She directed and produced the film &ldquo;DOK,&rdquo; which was based on her COVID-19 experience and her son&rsquo;s experience as a doctor.In an interview with media outfit RAWR Nation in 2022, she said she is a single mother of 17 years and a runner who goes to the gym.
