Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News&nbsp;</div>MANILA &mdash; The Philippine National Police (PNP) has ordered a reshuffle of senior police officials, including the appointment of a new chief of the Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO), as the agency fills key posts ahead of the retirement of its incumbent chief.Brig. Gen. Jose Manalad Jr., who currently heads the FEO, is set to retire from the police service upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56 on September 7.His retirement is among the changes prompting the latest movement of senior police officials.Under the new assignments, Brig. Gen. Melecio Buslig Jr., currently Eastern Police District director, will take over as FEO chief.The FEO is a specialized unit under the PNP Civil Security Group that regulates and manages the legal ownership, control and use of firearms and explosives in the country.Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Glenn Oliver Cinco, currently Southern Police District director, will head the Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA), also under the Civil Security Group.The movement of Buslig and Cinco will also result in new leadership for two major police districts in Metro Manila.Brig. Gen. Roman Arugay, formerly assigned to the Office of the PNP Chief, will replace Buslig as EPD director, while Brig. Gen. Rodel Pastor will take over Cinco&rsquo;s post as SPD director.Also included in the reshuffle is Brig. Gen. Jason Capoy, currently director of Police Regional Office 8 in Eastern Visayas, who will be assigned as chief of the Human Rights Affairs Office under the Office of the PNP Chief.Capoy will be replaced as PRO-8 director by Brig. Gen. Romano Cardi&ntilde;o, who will in turn be replaced as director of the Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region by Brig. Gen. Rudecindo Reales.The reassignment order was signed by PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. on September 4 and takes effect September 7.The latest move is part of a series of leadership adjustments within the PNP as the organization fills positions vacated by retiring senior officers and realigns key commands.&nbsp;<div> </div><div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>
