MANILA —  Born to be a dancing diva, forced to be slay-curity.

This is what this viral security guard used to describe himself in his videos on TikTok, which garner millions of views as he has found the right rhythm through recording himself while dancing between breaks.

Ryniel Pineda is a 37-year-old security guard in Davao City. He was a former hip-hop dancer and choreographer before shifting to his current job to support his family. He discovered TikTok to pass time whenever he is on a break.

Using his innate dancing skills, Ryniel learned a couple of viral dances and has never looked back since.

“Masaya ako at hindi ko akalain marami na pala akong napapasaya sa aking mga sayaw, sila rin ang nakapagbigay din ng inspiration ko na sumayaw ng pampa-goodvibes,” he expressed.

This Dancing Security Guard recently went viral for promoting the "La Croisière’ Show" of luxury brand Jacquemus. The said video amassed 11.4 millions of views and 125,000 reposts.

When asked about future collaborations with other brands, Ryniel said that he is currently waiting for updates from brands who have already reached out to him.

His other recent viral video featuring Lady Gaga's newest single "Abracadabra" is earning praises on social media for his quick mastery of the choreography.

It also got the attention from the pop star herself. She left a comment saying ‘The PASSION’ and reposted the video.

Ryniel has also shared that he uses dancing to condition his body for long hours of duty.

He said that through memorizing dance steps and performing them, he is able to relieve stress and forget the problems he is facing.

Although serving impressive dance steps is what made him known, he affirmed that as a security guard, his main commitment is still to serve and protect his constituents.

“At bilang security [guard] na nangangarap din, masasabi ko kung anong talent mayroon ka, kahit saan ka man, kahit anong trabaho mo pa, puwede kang makilala ng mga tao, basta wag lang pabayaan ang trabaho at magampanan ang tungkulin,” he added.
