Handout/PCG</div>MANILA -- Two fishermen stranded at sea were rescued by the Philippine Coast Guard in Bagac, Bataan last Friday.The PCG reported that the engine of the motor banca boarded by Giovannie Austria and Angelo Pilote failed in the waters off Brgy. Binuangan, Bagac.The Coast Guard Station (CGS) Bataan received a phone call at 8:03 a.m. from the District Action Center (DAC) informing them of the fishermen&#x27;s predicament.A search and rescue operation was conducted leading to the successful rescue of the stranded fishermen more than four hours later.The fishermen went through medical examination the next day at the Brgy. Lamao Regional Health Unit.After the examination, CGS Bataan personnel turned over the rescued fishermen and their fishing banca, Martina Leigh, to Eugene A Pascual, the nephew of Austria.
