Mark Demayo, ABS-CBN News/File</span></span></span></div><p style="text-align:left">CEBU CITY — The preparations for the 460th Fiesta Señor or the annual feast of the Santo Niño de Cebu is in full swing. </p><p>On Monday, Cebu City Hall officials along with representatives of the Cebu City Police Office and the Basilica Minore Del Santo Niño made a walk through for next year’s solemn foot procession route.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/video/life/01/21/24/sinulog-festival-in-cebu-marches-on-despite-heat">Sinulog Festival in Cebu marches on despite heat</a></div><p>It is a shorter route compared to this year, spanning only 5.7 kilometers. It is about a kilometer short than 2024’s 6.44 km.</p><p>“There are many things that we need to arrange and adjust,” said Raquel Arce in Cebuano, the head of the Cebu City Transportation Office. </p><p>Devotees are expected to tread the Osmeña Boulevard, General Maxilom Avenue, Imus Street and back to the Basilica. </p><p>One of the things that they need to fix is to divert the devotees who will pass by the ongoing construction of the Bus Rapid Transit. </p><p>There will be millions of devotees expected to join in the solemn procession.
