<p>MANILA (UPDATED) - A magnitude 5.0 tectonic earthquake shook Zambales province on Saturday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said. </p><p>PHIVOLCS said the quake struck at a depth of 102 kilometers at 5:32 p.m. with its epicenter around 25 kilometers southeast of Botolan. </p><div><strong>Reported Intensities: </strong></div><p>Intensity III - Botolan and Cabangan, ZAMBALES<br id="isPasted"/>Intensity II - CITY OF MANILA; CITY OF MARIKINA<br/>Intensity I - Bautista, Bolinao, Labrador, and City of Urdaneta, PANGASINAN    </p><div><strong>Instrumental Intensities:</strong></div><p>Intensity III - Cabangan and Iba, ZAMBALES<br id="isPasted"/>Intensity II - City of San Fernando, LA UNION; Bani, PANGASINAN; CITY OF DAGUPAN; Calumpit, BULACAN; Guimba, NUEVA ECIJA; Ramos, Santa Ignacia, and City of Tarlac, TARLAC; Botolan, San Marcelino, and Subic, ZAMBALES<br/>Intensity I - Aringay, LA UNION; Bautista, Bolinao, Labrador, Lingayen, Umingan, and City of Urdaneta, PANGASINAN; Abucay, Dinalupihan, and Orani, BATAAN; Bustos, Paombong, and San Rafael, BULACAN; Cuyapo, Nampicuan,<br/>City of Palayan, and San Antonio, NUEVA ECIJA; City of San Fernando, PAMPANGA; Bamban, TARLAC </p><p>PHIVOLCS said aftershocks may occur after the quake.</p><p>The tremor occurred a day after two strong earthquakes struck off the coast of Davao Oriental.</p><p>The first was a magnitude 7.4 tremor that took place in the morning, followed by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake in the evening.</p><p>On September 30, a magnitude 6.9 quake also hit off the northeastern part of Bogo City in Cebu.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/v9kzn1WteRQ??si=uCxJ1W1kV_oNofoe&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span><br/></div>
