Harlene Delgado, ABS-CBN News</div><div> </div>MANILA — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.  assured Aeta communities at an aid distribution program in Pampanga that the government stands ready to help improve their lives, adding it is its duty to.“Huwag na kayong mag-thank you dahil trabaho talaga namin ito. Pera ninyo ito, kaya binabalik lang namin sa inyo ito,&quot; Marcos said to beneficiaries who received assistance at the Katutubo Village in Barangay Planas in Porac, Pampanga on Friday, October 3.(Do not thank us because this is really our job. This is your money and we are just giviing it back to you)The aid distribution Marcos was speaking at is part of the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s (DSWD) Pag-abot program. The government distributed carabaos and farm implements to 127 beneficiaries and P10,000 in financial assistance to each of 1,200 others.Marcos said the DSWD will continue to look for ways to help Filipinos who need assistance.“At ito po ay kaya naman —  handa naman ang pamahalaan na magawa lahat upang mapaginhawa ang inyong buhay,” Marcos Jr. added.(And that is something that can be done — the government is ready to dow everything it can to make your lives more comfortable)<div> </div><div>AETA COMMUNITY TO GET LAND TITLE</div>Among those ways is awarding the community, which has been living in the area since 1992 after being displaced by the Mount Pinatubo eruption, the title to the land they are on.“Hindi po maliit na bagay ‘yung kaka-announce lang ni Congresswoman [Gloria Macapagal Arroyo] na ‘yung titulo ng lupa ay mabibigay na para hindi na po kayo nag-aalala,” he stated.(What Congresswoman Arroyo announced that you will soon get your land title is no small thing)Before Marcos Jr.&#x27;s  speech, Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Arroyo announced that the Katutubo Village’s land title will soon be ready to be awarded to the Aeta community.This, as she explained that the villagers resettled in the area in 1992 following the Mt. Pinatubo eruption.“Merong mangyayari — palagay ko — sa inyong panahon para lalo pang mamahalin kayo ng mga katutubo,” she told the President, referring to the prospect of getting the land title transferred to the community.(Something is about to happen, I think during your term and the community will love you even more for it)
