Residents of Sitio Sungyot, Nibaliw Narvarte, San Fabian, Pangasinan, took temporary shelter at the San Fabian Sports Center on Monday after their homes were damaged by strong winds and heavy rains brought by Typhoon Uwan.Jenny Rocafor, who evacuated with her two children, lamented losing their home at the coastal barangay.&quot;Sa sobrang lakas ng alon, na-washout na po yung buong bahay namin sa Sitio Sungyot kaya po nag-evacuate po kami dito sa school center. Wala na po kaming matirhan,&quot; she said.Rocafor appealed for help, saying she needs food, milk, and diapers for her children.Meanwhile, roads leading to Pangasinan from Baguio are slowly being cleared of trees and debris brought down by the strong winds.In Taloy, Tuba, Benguet, barangay workers dragged branches from the main road, while in Concepcion, Rosario, La Union, disaster personnel sawed through tree trunks to quickly remove them.
