MANILA — Companies allegedly linked to Construction Workers Solidarity Party-List Rep. Edwin Gardiola supposedly “bought” some P22 billion worth of Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) projects in the 2025 budget, according to Batangas 1st District Rep. Leandro Legarda Leviste.Leviste showed a list of projects in the 2025 National Expenditure Program as of August 30, 2024, where a number of projects were tagged as “CENTI 20”, and some were tagged as “BIP-LEADERSHIP”. Leviste said these projects were later awarded to Gardiola-linked companies.&quot;And in my own district, there are four in the municipality of Tuy under ReadyCon Trading,” he added.“I know that the ReadyCon Trading projects in Tuy are proposed by Congressman Gardiola because he called me asking for help for the local government to accept the asphalt specifications for the project and the other projects under the list.”The Batangas solon further alleged that Gardiola is the “top DPWH contractor in Congress today”.He said he has documents to show that Gardiola “conspired for DPWH to rig the bids, and award them to his companies,.<div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/11/18/leviste-tags-cws-party-list-rep-gardiola-as-2nd-biggest-proponent-in-infra-projects-1836">Leviste tags CWS Party-list Rep.
