<div> </div>MANILA — At least 2 people were killed, 6 were injured, while another person remains missing in Southern Leyte after Typhoon Tino pounded parts of the Visayas earlier this week, the province&#x27;s governor said on Thursday.The provincial government is in the process of reaching the town of Silago and other areas that were previously inaccessible during the height of Typhoon Tino, Southern Leyte Governor Damian Mercado told state television PTV.“Wala pang kuryente pero pwede nang madaanan. Ang problema doon ay supply ng pagkain at water,” he said.“Sa probinsya may supply kami at may food pack na binigay ang DSWD (Department of Social Welfare and Development)… Siguro tomorrow makukuha na namin yung supply na binili namin,” he also said.There were some 28,000 families who earlier evacuated due to the onslaught of Typhoon Tino, but most of them have returned home, the Governor said.Provincial engineers are en route to different towns to evaluate how many residents need construction material to repair their homes, he said.
