Bumagsak ang 300-taong gulang na pulpito ng Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion sa Maragondon, Cavite noong Biyernes, December 12, 2025.Ayon sa opisyal na anunsyo ng parokya sa Facebook page nito, sinabi nito na idineklara ang Pulpito bilang National Cutural Treasure ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).Ang pagbagsak ay dulot ng &quot;internal structural failure ng lumang suporta sa loob ng Tornavoz (Sound Bar),&quot; ayon sa imbestigasyon ng NCCA sa parehong araw ng insidente.&#x27;Agad na sinigurado ang lugar upang maiwasan ang anumang pinsala. Maingat na inipon ang lahat ng mga fragment ng Pulpito at kasalukuyan itong nakaseguro at nakamonitor sa Parish Baptistry,&#x27; ayon pa sa opisyal na pahayag ng simbahan.Noong Lunes, December 15, ay dumating sina Dr. Cheek Fadriquela, PhD., Wood Conservation Specialist &amp; Research Associate at Arch. Roy de Guzman ng RDG Ecclesiastical Architecture, mga NCCA Specialist Conservation Expert, para simulan ang detalyadong pagtatasa.&#x27;Hinihiling po namin ang inyong patuloy na panalangin. Tinitiyak po namin na gagawin natin ang lahat alinsunod sa highest conservation standards para maibalik ang ating makasaysayang Pulpito sa dati nitong karangalan,&#x27; saad ng simbahan sa pahayag nito.Sa kabila ng pangyayari ay patuloy naman ang serbisyo ng simbahan sa komunidad, ayon sa admistrator ng Facebook page ng Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion na si John Lester Malimban. Sa katunayan aniya ay nagdiwang sila ng anticipated mass noong Lunes ng gabi, December 15, at misa para sa unang araw ng tradisyunal na Simbang Gabi ngayong Martes, December 16.
