Kaya ngayon ang Laguna ay dapat laging nakangiti lahat ng tao at laging mabait sa ating mga kababayan,&quot; she added.The executive order received full support from Vice Governor JM Carait and all members of the provincial board.“Napakaganda po ng unang executive order ng ating butihing gobernadora. Ayaw na ayaw ko rin po na may naaapi at may injustice,” said Vice Governor Carait.Health Secretary Ted Herbosa, who joined Aragones on her first day in office, also expressed his support.Herbosa said he plans to replicate Aragones’ executive order in Department of Health (DOH) hospitals and encourage four other governors who recently approached him for health-related assistance to implement it as well.“Gagawin ko na rin lahat ito sa DOH hospital, bawal ang mataray sa mga DOH hospital,” said Secretary Herbosa.“May apat pang governor na lumapit sa akin, magpapatulong sa health, ipapagawa ko ito,” he added.Aragones also said a monitoring team will be formed to keep watch over health workers who may mistreat patients.Violators of the executive order will face penalties, while hospital staff who consistently smile and treat patients well will be rewarded.Families of patients at Laguna Medical Center welcomed the new policy.“Tama po &#x27;yun kasi minsan may ganoon na mataray, tama po &#x27;yun na &#x27;yung hindi dapat tarayan lalo na po kami na may mga pasyente, dapat talagang itrato kami na maayos,” said Pacita Calinagan of Sta. Cruz, whose child is confined at the hospital.Aragones clarified that her concern is not only for the patients, but also for the welfare of healthcare workers.“Aalamin din natin ang kalagayan ng ating mga manggagawa sa kalusugan. Baka naman kaya nagiging irritable o mataray ang ilan ay dahil sa sobrang pagod dulot ng extended duty at kakulangan sa personnel,” she said.She also reiterated her commitment to holding office inside hospitals.“Gusto ko mag-opisina diyan upang malaman mo kung gaano kalaki ang problema ng isang ospital kung nakikita mo, naririnig at nararamdaman mo sila, dahil andun ka, alam mo ang problema, alam mo solusyonan,” Aragones explained.The new governor also visited Laguna Medical Center in Sta.
