Halos isang buwan na sa Nicolas L. Galvez Memorial National High School sa Bay, Laguna ang pamilya ni Bayan Patroller Maria Princess Layno dahil lubog pa rin sa baha ang kanilang lugar sa Brgy. Tagumpay sa Bay, Laguna.   Isa ang Brgy. Tagumpay sa mga binaha dulot ng malakas na ulang dala ng Bagyong Crising, na naging dahilan sa pag-apaw ng Laguna de Bay.   Ayon kay Barangay Chairman Julius Bautista, nasa 195 na pamilya ang nasa apat na hiwa-hiwalay na evacuation centers. Samantala, 75 na pamilya ang nasa permanent evacuation center mula pa July 23, 2025.   Kwento ni Bayan Patroller Layno, sapilitan silang pinalikas noon dahil mabilis tumaas ang baha dahil sa malakas na ulan at pag-apaw ng lawa.   Paliwanag ni Bautista, naipon na sa malaking bahagi ng Brgy. Tagumpay ang tubig na galing sa lawa. Tagumpay na dapat tapos na noong 2023 at 2024. Isa rito ay may project description na &quot;Construction of Flood Control Project, Bay Lakeshore Protection - Bgy. Tagumpay, Bay, Laguna.&quot; Na-award ito sa 11 Diamond Eagle Construction Corp., at may project cost na P19,599,339,02. Ang completion date nito ay noong December 11, 2023.   Ang pangalawang proyekto ay may project description na &quot;Construction of River Protection Structure along Bay River, Bgy. Tagumpay, Bay, Laguna.&quot; Na-award naman ito sa JTC Cruz Construction Co., Inc., at may project cost na P47,042,947.37. Ang completion date naman nito ay noong March 21, 2024.   Nananawagan si Bautista na matapos na ang nakabinbin na mga proyekto para maproteksyunan ang mga residente laban sa baha at nang makabalik na sila sa kanilang komunidad.
