A Finnish national was arrested after allegedly  hitting a traffic enforcer while attempting to flee in Brgy. Buhangin Proper, Davao City. “Erik,” 23, a Finn residing in Bukidnon, was initially flagged down by a traffic enforcer along Kilometer 6, Milan for driving against the flow of traffic on Thursday. The Davao City police said that instead of complying, Erik deliberately ignored the enforcer’s instructions and continued driving.The traffic enforcer was allegedly struck on the right shoulder by the vehicle as the suspect fled northbound.Traffic enforcers from the City Transport and Traffic Management Office, along with the Mobile Patrol Unit, immediately conducted pursuit operations against the foreign national.The suspect was eventually arrested along Maharlika Highway in Brgy.
