Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News/File</div>MANILA – The United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) on Tuesday submitted before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) their Sworn List of Authorized Signatories, as part of their preparations for the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections. UBJP spokesperson Mohajirin Ali said this is part of the mandatory requirement for the accreditation process of Regional Parliamentary Political Parties (RPPPs). (JC) Ito ang ina-authorize naming pumirma ng CONA and in the event na magpa-file na tayo ng candidacy sa district next week,&quot; Ali told reporters. &quot;Required kasi ng Comelec with this, yung mga taong in charge ay personally dapat haharap dito sa Comelec kaya andito ang aming party president, vice president, at iba pa naming kasama,&quot; he added. United Bangsamoro Justice Party President Al Haj Murad Ebrahim said they aim to comply with the legal requirements to participate in the Bangsamoro polls. &quot;For us this is no ordinary election,&quot; Ebrahim said. &quot;This is very historic. This is connected to a very long historical narrative of the Bangsamoro quest for freedom and self-determination. UBJP&#x27;s participation in the coming election is indispensable,&quot; he added. Ebrahim noted that there would be no parliamentary election if there is no Bangsamoro region. &quot;There is no BARMM without the Comprehensive Agreement on the Bangsamoro. There is no CAB without the MILF. There is no MILF without the founding fathers,&quot; he said. Meanwhile, asked about the recently-filed opposition against their registration as RPPP, Ali said it was better if they leave this to the Comelec. A petitioner had alleged that the UBJP violated the election gun ban in the 2025 midterm elections by &quot;displaying&quot; firearms during political assemblies and accepting foreign contributions. But for the party&#x27;s spokesperson, the petition doesn&#x27;t have any bearing on them yet. &quot;Iiwasan natin mag-speculate para maiwasang ma-preempt ang mga pinoproseso nilang petition. Nakapag-reply na kami within the required deadline last time. Hinihintay namin ang bagay na yan,&quot; said Ali. &quot;Sabi ng aming abugado, wala namang bearing yung mga petition.
