<p>MANILA – The Philippine Air Force (PAF) confirmed that two pilots died after an SF-260 trainer aircraft crashed in Cabuyao, Tuba, Benguet on Wednesday morning during a navigation training flight.</p><p>In a message sent to ABS-CBN News, PAF spokesperson Colonel Ma. Christina Basco said the aircraft went down at around 10:30 a.m. while en route to Baguio City.</p><p>The SF-260, carrying the two pilots, was among ten aircraft that had departed from the Fernando Air Base in Lipa City for the training mission.</p><p>“We are deeply saddened to inform [you] that both pilots passed,” Basco said.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:460px;display:block"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><br/><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1779253939461BLUR1.png" style="width:460px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Photos courtesy MDRRMO Tuba<br/><br/><br/></span></span></span></div><p>Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the crash.</p><p>“An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the accident.
