Courtesy: Brett Joe Saquilon via Annie Perez</em></span></span></span></div><p>CEBU CITY — Three fires hit Cebu City in less than a day on Monday, the Bureau of Fire Protection has confirmed.</p><p>The first incident was at Sitio Upper Camparang, Barangay Kalunasan, where one structure was burned affecting six individuals. The fire was raised to first alarm.</p><p>A few hours after, the second incident was reported at Sitio Bugnay Dos, Barangay Labangon, where 18 houses were affected. Only four were partially burned.</p><p>There were 14 families or 70 individuals that were immediately relocated to the nearest evacuation center following the fire, with the damage pegged at P210,000.</p><p>On Monday dawn, another fire was reported at Sitio Stacionan, Barangay Mabolo.</p><p>Three structures were burned affecting 28 individuals, with damage estimated to be at P450,000.</p><p>All causes of the fires are still under investigation, said SFO3 Wendell Villanueva, spokesperson of BFP Cebu City.</p><p>“We are reminding the public again in using their electric device, especially that it is too hot now,” added Villanueva in Cebuano.</p><p>He is also asking the public to be vigilant especially as the effects of the El Niño will be felt in the next months.</p><p>“Actually, we are also ensuring that there is enough supply of water as we respond to different incidents,” Villanueva further said.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO</strong></div><div><strong><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/mxdqu23L0PE?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></strong><br/></div>

<p>All causes of the fires are still under investigation, BFP Cebu City said.</p>
