<p>MANILA — Authorities foiled a school attack threat in Leyte, the interior department said Thursday, just days after two teenagers shot and killed three students in the province. </p><p>Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Sen. Bam Aquino on Wednesday night called him with a tip that &quot;there was chatter in Tacloban that there was an impending mass shooting that was about to occur&quot;. </p><p>Investigators later found the Facebook posts of a 14-year-old Grade 10 student &quot;accused of planning a mass shooting or stabbing&quot; at the Tolosa National High School, Remulla said. </p><p>He said one of the student&#x27;s posts, written in the vernacular, roughly translates to: &quot;You owe me. Get ready, I will disrupt the school... Be prepared for whoever gets stabbed or shot. We don&#x27;t care. Noong nalaman namin, inaktuhan agad namin,&quot; Remulla said. </p><p>He said the posts and accounts were later deleted by the student, who was &quot;hesitant and uncooperative due to the fear of repercussions.&quot; </p><p>Her parents &quot;refused to provide information about the incident&quot;, the official said. </p><p>“Personal and family issues” were eyed as motives in the attack plot, Remulla said. </p><p>“Following engagement with her family and along with investigation results, the threat appears to be neutralized and inactive.
