ORIENTAL MINDORO — Two suspected female New People’s Army (NPA) rebels were killed, while another was captured following a more than 30-minute firefight between troops of the Philippine Army’s 76th Infantry Battalion and alleged NPA members under the command of a leader known as “Ka Floro” in Barangay Del Pilar, Naujan, Oriental Mindoro.According to Brig. Gen. Melencio Ragudo, commander of the 203rd Infantry Brigade, the two slain rebels are believed to be students.
