Magalona.</p><p>Authorities said the team was searching for a wanted person reportedly hiding inside the property when officers allegedly discovered an ongoing online sabong operation.</p><p>Four individuals identified only by their aliases “JG,” “FD,” “RL,” and “EC,” were arrested after they allegedly failed to present documents authorizing them to conduct or facilitate online cockfighting betting.</p><p>Police recovered 142 live fighting cocks, 106 dead fighting cocks, 156 gaffs, two camera stands, and two television monitors believed to have been used in the alleged online gambling operation.</p><p>Charges for alleged violation of Presidential Decree No. 1602, as amended by Republic Act No. 9287, in relation to the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, are being prepared against the suspects.</p><p>Meanwhile, the wanted person who was the original target of the operation remains at large.</p><p>Police said they are also pursuing additional leads to determine the possible involvement of other individuals in the alleged online sabong operation, including validating information on the ownership and control of the property where the operation took place.</p><p>Investigators are likewise looking into reports involving a provincial board member who allegedly provided inaccurate information to the operating teams during the operation and is being investigated over alleged ownership or control of the property. </p><p>Authorities emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and that any charges will depend on the evidence gathered.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO</strong></div><div><strong><span class="fr-video fr-deletable fr-fvc fr-dvb fr-draggable" contenteditable="false" draggable="true"><iframe width="640" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/v_vFyNgjT7Y?&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;rel=0" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen="" class="fr-draggable"></iframe></span></strong><br/></div>
