<p>PAMPANGA — Eight schools in San Fernando, Pampanga, were declared clear of any explosive materials after reports of alleged bomb threats circulated online.</p><p>San Fernando police said the affected schools included one high school and seven elementary schools, namely, Potrero National High School, and Duat, San Antonio, Balas, Sta. Barbara, Bacolor, Potrero, and Parulog Elementary Schools — all located within the same compound.</p><p>Authorities said the incident was reported after a Facebook post containing a bomb threat against the schools. The report was relayed through the San Fernando police hotline, prompting officers to immediately proceed to the area and verify the information.</p><p>According to the San Fernando police, prior to the reported threats received by the elementary schools, Potrero National High School had also been receiving similar bomb threat reports for several days. </p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2026/7/3/pnp-says-rise-in-school-threats-mostly-aimed-at-disrupting-classes-exams-1252">PNP says rise in school threats mostly aimed at disrupting classes, exams</a></div><p>The Pampanga Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU) inspected the affected schools.
