<p>Multiple landslides and flooding hit Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro, on Tuesday as heavy, incessant rains brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat battered the area.</p><p>In Barangay Sinandigan, a portion of a mountainside collapsed, burying a man underneath debris.</p><p>Residents immediately launched rescue efforts and managed to pull the victim from the rubble.
