Aguado, Trece Maritez City in Cavite.</p><p>The 2.2 metric tons of dangerous drugs incinerated was the largest volume the agency has disposed this year. </p><p>The bulk of the substances consisted of more than 1.7 million grams of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, also known as shabu, with an estimated value of ₱12.06 billion.</p><p>The PDEA said most of the illegal drugs were seized from major anti-illegal drug operations, including the interception of 876,000 grams of shabu in Mimaropa and 906,406 grams in Valenzuela City. </p><p>The destruction also covered 433,336 grams of marijuana, 15,000 grams of assorted expired medicines, and small volumes of cocaine, MDMA, MDMA+Meth, Diazepam, Ketamine, Nitrazepam, Psilocybin, liquid marijuana, and liquid Methamphetamine Hydrochloride.</p><p>PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani R Nerez said the dangerous drugs’ incineration “ensures that these substances can no longer return to the illegal drug market or pose a threat to our communities.”</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2025/10/9/pdea-destroys-p16b-worth-of-illegal-drugs-in-cavite-1511">PDEA destroys P16B worth of illegal drugs in Cavite</a></div><div><br/></div><div><strong>RELATED VIDEO:</strong></div><div style="text-align:center"><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/twUyrf8oGR0?si=ApzQeF3jnB3bdqng" title="YouTube video player" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe><br/></div>
