Rita </li><li>San Pedro </li><li>San Nicolas </li><li>Sto. Rosario </li><li>San Francisco 1 </li><li>San Francisco 2 </li><li>Sta. Catalina</li></ul><div> </div><p>Speaking in a late-night livestream near the overflowing dike structure alongside local police and provincial officials, Mayor Philip Naguit emphasized the severity of the situation and urged full cooperation from residents.</p><p>Naguit stated that as he observed earlier, the Gugu River has overflowed and breached, leaving the town center affected.</p><p>Naguit appealed directly to local families to prioritize safety over property and evacuate immediately with the assistance of barangay officials and emergency personnel.</p><p>He strongly advised residents not to hesitate and instructed those in low-lying areas to proceed to their barangay officials as authorities enforce a forced evacuation.</p><p>The mayor noted that PNP vehicles, provincial task force units, and rescue manpower have been deployed across affected zones to facilitate transport and maintain peace and order during the overnight operations.</p><p>Municipal officials also ordered vehicle owners with parked cars along the Minalin Tail Dike and Minalin Sunset Park to relocate their vehicles to safer, elevated grounds immediately to prevent obstruction and property damage.</p><p>Local disaster management officials urge all residents, particularly those with children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities, to stay alert, follow orders from barangay officials, and remain in designated multi-story evacuation shelters until floodwaters recede.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2026/8/30/forced-evacuation-ordered-in-sto-tomas-pampanga-as-gugu-river-overflows-0202">Forced evacuation ordered in Sto.
