Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News "><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align: left;">Workers conduct the the Final Testing and Sealing (FTS) of Ballots, Local Absentee Voting (LAV) Ballots, Overseas Voting (OV) Ballots, Official Ballots (OB) for Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) and CARAGA, BARMM Parliamentary Election Ballots, and Mock Election Ballots at the National Printing Office, North Diliman, Quezon City on January 15, 2025. <em>Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News&nbsp;</em></span></span></span></div><p>MANILA &mdash; The Commission on Elections said preparations are on track for the upcoming historic Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections, scheduled to happen this September 14.</p><p>Speaking to state television&#39;s Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, Commission on Elections spokesperson Director John Rex Laudiangco said election paraphernalia are now in their hubs in the region.</p><p>&quot;Ang lahat po ng kagamitan mula sa mga balota, makina, transmission devices, lahat po naka-deploy na sa hubs ng Commission on Elections doon sa limang lalawigan at special area partikular sa Cotabato City,&quot; said Director John Rex Laudiangco of the Commission on Elections.</p><p>&quot;Ito po ay na-inspect na ng mga stakeholders at mga watchers po ng mga kandidato,&quot; he added.</p><p>Laudiangco said these are all ready to be deployed to the clustered precincts because the final testing and sealing will be on September 12.</p><p>Ballots will be distributed to teachers on September 13, ahead of the historic Bangsamoro polls on September 14.</p><div><a class="fr-strong fr-green" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/regions/2026/8/24/comelec-more-than-24-000-checkpoints-put-up-across-barmm-1811">Comelec: More than 24,000 checkpoints put up across BARMM</a></div><p>&quot;Alas singko ng madaling araw ng September 14 ay bubuksan na po natin ang voting sa kauna-unahang BARMM Parliamentary Elections,&quot; Laudiangco said.</p><p>There will be 5,212 clustered precincts for the Bangsamoro Parliamentary Elections and each will have an automated vote counting machine.</p><p>Each municipality will also have contingency machines in case some of the machines malfunction.</p><p>Each school will also have a technician to resolve the issue.</p><p>&quot;Hindi po pwedeng ma-delay ang halalan.
