Arthur Fuentes, ABS-CBN News </div>MANILA — Samsung took the wraps off the Galaxy S25 FE, the most affordable model in its S25 family of flagships.&quot;Equipped with One UI 8 — the latest Galaxy AI experiences — Galaxy S25 FE offers a personalized AI companion with multimodal capabilities,&quot; Samsung said.During the sneak peek event last week, Samsung allowed tech journalists a closer look at the S25 FE (or fan edition). The phone looked almost every bit as good in terms of build quality as its higher end cousins. While the FE is supposed to be a step lower than the proper flagship series, you couldn&#x27;t tell by simply looking at it or holding it in your hands.At first glance, the FE looks a lot like the S25+. But of course, Samsung had to dial down some of the specs to make the FE more affordable.With a 6.7-inch screen, the FE is bigger than the S25, which comes with a 6.2-inch display. Arthur Fuentes, ABS-CBN News</div>While the S25+ has a 1440 x 3120 resolution screen, which comes to a 513 ppi pixel density, the FE has a 1080 x 2340  screen, which comes to a 385 ppi density. But unless you have a very sharp eyesight, you are unlikely to be able to tell the difference between the two.Samsung also put almost the same camera system on the FE--it also features a 50 megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 12MP ultrawide lens like the S25+. But the FE&#x27;s telephoto camera is just 8MP, while the S25+ has a 10MP telephoto shooter. Both telephoto cameras however, have a claimed optical 3x zoom capability.Both the S25+ and the S25 FE also feature a 12MP selfie camera. For content creators, video capabilities are practically also par between the FE and S25+ as both can record UHD 8K video (7,680 x 4,320 pixels) at 30 frames per second.As earlier mentioned, Samsung however has dialed down some of the specs on the FE to bring down its price. While the S25+ is spec&#x27;d with 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, the FE is spec&#x27;d with just 8GB of RAM and a base storage of 128GB. So if you&#x27;re a serious content creator who shoots a lot of videos, you may want to take that into consideration.But when it comes to price, the FE is definitely much more affordable. Its base 8GB/128GB model is priced at P39,990 while the base S25+ with a 12GB/256GB configuration sells for P64,990.
