Arthur Fuentes, ABS-CBN News </div>MANILA — Electronics giant Samsung on Wednesday announced the global launch of the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, which the company says bring the latest AI features to mid-range consumers.The announcement signals a major push in &quot;AI democratization&quot;—a term Samsung uses to describe the integration of premium artificial intelligence across its more affordable device tiers.&quot;The new Galaxy A series reflects our continued commitment to bringing the latest innovations to more Galaxy users,&quot; said TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung Electronics.Running on the new One UI 8.5, Samsung said the devices introduce several sophisticated AI tools previously reserved for the flagship S-series. The &quot;Object Eraser&quot; tool has been refined for more natural results when removing distractions from photos, while the Galaxy A57 5G gains a &quot;Best Face&quot; feature for optimized group portraits and &quot;Auto Trim&quot; for simplified video editing.On the hardware front, both models feature a 50MP triple-camera system with enhanced &quot;Nightography&quot; for low-light performance. The more premium A57 5G boasts a slimmer profile and a Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster technology, powered by a 5,000mAh battery rated for two days of use.Samsung said it is also doubling down on longevity for midrange phones. The company pledged up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, alongside its hardware-based &quot;Knox Vault&quot; security system.The devices are available immediately in several colors, including &quot;Awesome Navy&quot; and &quot;Awesome Lilac.&quot; In a bid to entice early adopters, Samsung is bundling the launch with &quot;Samsung Care+&quot; coverage and significant discounts on its broader ecosystem, including the Galaxy Watch8 and Buds3 FE.The Samsung A57 5G starts at P28,990 while the A37 5G starts at P25,990.
