Arthur Fuentes, ABS-CBN News</div>BERLIN&mdash; Acer has unveiled what may just be the lightest full-sized laptop to date&mdash;the Swift Blade 14.&nbsp;Unveiled ahead of the formal opening of the IFA tech expo in Berlin, the 14-inch Swift Blade looks set to redefine the standard for what a thin-and-light notebook could be.While sub 1-kilo laptops are nothing new, Acer engineers seem to have subjected the Swift Blade 14 to ridiculous doses of Ozempic, creating a notebook PC that weighs just 799 grams (1.76 pounds) and is just 12.9 mm thin.&nbsp;Shaving off that much mass without sacrificing structural integrity required a bit of hybrid material engineering, according to Acer. Visually, it centers around a 14-inch 3K OLED panel running at 90 Hz with 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage and razor-thin 4.3 mm bezels.For users who want a larger workspace over extreme weight savings, Acer also debuted the Swift Air 16. Weighing 1.5 kg (3.31 pounds) inside an all-aluminum chassis, the 16-inch machine leans into everyday versatility. It features up to a 120 Hz 3K OLED screen peaking at 500 nits, alongside a multi-touch IPS display option.Under the hood, the Air 16 houses up to an Intel Core 7 processor 350 featuring a dedicated NPU capable of up to 40 platform TOPS for AI acceleration. Paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, and a quad-speaker array with DTS Virtual:X audio, it&rsquo;s built to handle media consumption and creative workloads alike. A 70 Wh battery keeps the lights on, featuring fast-charging that reaches 50 percent in 30 minutes.For users whose computing needs are anchored firmly to a family desk, Acer also overhauled its minimalist Aspire S all-in-one series. The 27-inch Aspire S 27 and 23.8-inch Aspire S 24 retain their clean, all-white frames but get a spec bump courtesy of Intel Core Series 3 chips (up to a Core 7 350).&nbsp;Both AIOs now offer a touchscreen display option with stylus support, effectively turning the communal home PC into a digital drawing board or signature pad.&nbsp;
