Maria Tan, ABS-CBN News</span></span></span>MANILA - The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will start the rehabilitation efforts of Epifanio delos Santos Avenue on Wednesday, December 24, after being suspended in June and to coincide with the holiday break when less motorists are traversing the major thoroughfare. </div><p>Public Work Secretary Vince Dizon earlier said repair works will be on<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/12/17/dizon-edsa-rehab-to-start-on-dec-24-0907"> 24-hour schedule in EDSA</a> starting December 24 at 11 p.m. until 4 a.m. of January 5, 2026.</p><p>The rehabilitation includes road re-blocking of select areas and asphalt overlay of the busway lanes.</p><p>Here is the repair works schedule from December 24 to 27:</p><div> </div><div><strong>CONCRETE REBLOCKING WORKS</strong></div><p><strong>Southbound</strong><br id="isPasted"/>December 24-27, 2025: P. The rebuilding works was supposed to stretch from Pasay City to Shaw Boulevard.</p><p>Marcos said the suspension of the ambitious plan is to allow government agencies to <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/nation/2025/6/1/marcos-jr-suspends-edsa-rehabilitation-to-find-better-way-1135">&quot;find a better way&quot; </a>to repair the decades-old highway.  </p>
