MANILA -- The low pressure area east of Mindanao continues to have high potential for tropical cyclone formation in the next 24 hours, according to PAGASA.It will be named Jacinto when it forms.As of 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, the LPA was located 430 kilometers east-northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao.This Sunday, the LPA will bring scattered rains over Central and Eastern Visayas and the northern and eastern sections of Mindanao.The weather bureau says the disturbance may not last long as a tropical depression and may stay mostly as LPA during its passage.It may graze the eastern section of Mindanao, Visayas, and Southern Luzon before crossing Luzon next week.
