MANILA — Several local government units declared the suspension of classes on Thursday, September 18, due to inclement weather.Classes in all levels, public and private are suspended in the following areas:<div>Aparri, Cagayan</div>Cabiao, Nueva Ecija (shift to distance learning)<div>Pangasinan</div><ul><li>Mangatarem (shift to distance learning)</li><li>San Jacinto</li><li>Umingan</li></ul><div> </div>Classes in all levels in public schools in Mapandan, Pangasinan are also suspended, while classes from kindergarten to high school, both public and private, in Mangaldan, Pangasinan shall shift to distance learning.Meanwhile, classes in all levels in Albay shall shift to modular learning due to the ongoing transport strike.As of 11 p.m., tropical depression Mirasol has exited the Luzon landmass and is is over the coastal waters of Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte.Tropical cyclone wind signal no. 1 is still hoisted over several areas in Northern Luzon, including Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, northern Isabela, Apayao, Abra, Kalinga, Mountain Province, northern and eastern Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, and northern and central Ilocos Sur.Tropical depression Nando, which entered PAR Thursday night, will not directly affect the country’s weather through the weekend but may stir monsoon rains from Sunday or Monday.
