NOAH's typhoon, flood, landslide warnings now on eGOVph

<p>MANILA — Early warning systems under NOAH or the Nationwide Operational Assessment of Hazards have been incorporated in the government&#x27;s<a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/technology/2026/2/10/dict-says-new-features-now-live-at-government-s-egovph-app-1553"> eGovPH app.</a></p><p>“We’re officially back! Both features were “still in beta”, according to the app.</p><p>It added that more hazard insights were “coming soon.” </p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1770869997983bdc6551d-eff1-4986-bc31-07d0f1448fa6.jpeg" style="width:300px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div><br/></div><p>NOAH traces its roots to Project NOAH, which was launched in 2012 under the administration of the late former President Benigno Aquino III. The project aims to provide disaster-related information nationwide to help Filipinos prepare for, respond to, and recover from natural hazards.</p><p>However, the program was defunded in 2017 during the Duterte administration due to budget constraints.</p><p>Prior to the defunding of the project, the University of the Philippines integrated NOAH into its system. In June 2017, UP established the Resilience Institute, with the UP NOAH Center led by Lagmay.</p>
