MANILA — Some parts of Metro Manila experienced moderate to heavy rains Friday evening, August 28.PAGASA raised the Orange Rainfall Warning over the region during the evening due to enhanced southwest monsoon rains.In EDSA, Quezon City, heavy rains were experienced at around 7:40 p.m.Moderate to heavy downpours were also reported in España Boulevard, Manila; Quezon Avenue; Lawton and Quiapo, Manila, at around 8:30 p.m.Meanwhile, light and intermittent rains were reported along Taft Avenue, Kalaw Avenue, and United Nations Avenue in Manila.No flooding was reported in the said areas.
