German Defenwe Minister Boris Pistorius called remarks made by U.S Vice President JD Vance about Europe &quot;not acceptable&quot; on Friday. Vance had criticized Europe during a speech at the Munich Security Conference for what he described as censorship of free speech and political opponents.&quot;He spoke of the annulation of democracy and, if I understood him correctly, he compared conditions in parts of Europe with those in authoritarian regimes. Ladies and gentlemen, that is not acceptable,&quot; Pistorius said in response to these remarks.Pistorius added that he &#x27;strongly opposes&#x27; the impression given by Vance that Europe was suppressing or silencing minorities.
