Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Commander, General Mohammad Pakpour warned Iran's "enemies" against any making any "mistakes", during an address on Wednesday.

"All our fighters are ready, fingers on the trigger," he said, adding, "If the enemy makes a mistake, they will be met with a firm and powerful response."

Israel's bombing campaign on Iran, launched with a surprise attack on June 13, wiped out the top echelon of Iranian military leadership, killed its leading nuclear scientists and targeted nuclear sites and missiles.

Iran responded with missiles that pierced Israel's defenses in large numbers for the first time.

After 12 days of Israeli airstrikes that echoed in cities around the country, a ceasefire was brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump between Iran and Israel.

Speaking at a NATO summit in The Hague on Wednesday, President Trump hailed the swift end to war between Iran and Israel and said Washington would likely seek a commitment from Tehran to end its nuclear ambitions at talks with Iranian officials next week.

Iranian authorities said 610 people had been killed and nearly 5,000 injured in Iran, where the extent of the damage could not be independently confirmed because of tight restrictions on media. Twenty-eight people were killed in Israel.
