The paraglider was subsequently rescued by firefighters on a ladder which had to be fully extended to reach him later in the night.</p><p>Reuters confirmed the location from terrain, cranes and bridges which matched file and satellite images. The date of the day shot was confirmed by local media reports. The date of the night shot could not be confirmed but no older version of the video was found posted online before June 20.</p><p>Local media, citing local government staff, reported on June 20 that the paraglider pilot was rescued safely after being caught on a crane by accident in Nanchong. </p><div><strong>(Production: Shung Sin Tan)</strong></div>
