Eager suitor Geoff Eigenmann supports Ryza
Ryza Cenon plays the widower Annie, who is badly treated by her employer Shiela (Jenny Miller) and not given due compensation because of her work status in this Saturday’s (June 8) episode of “Ipaglaban Mo.”
A devout mother to Princess (Xia Vigor), Annie perseveres to sustain a decent living despite being a widower. She gets courted by several men because of her beauty, but only gets close to Rogelio (Geoff Eigenmann), an Engineer. Eventually, the persistent suitor supports Annie in the most trying times in her life.
Annie meets accident while working and is not be able to work because of this. She asks for compensation from her employer, who belittles her situation and insists that she can’t get any assistance from her company because she is not a regular employee. Annie fights for her right, alongside Rogelio who sincerely guides and pursues the case with her.
Will Annie find help in the court even if she is not considered a regular employee of the company to which she has dedicated her time to? What are the rights of workers like Annie who are maltreated because of lack of proper work documents?
