More and more Filipinos are now enjoying their favorite TV shows in crystal clear picture and crisp sound as 8 million ABS-CBN TVplus boxes have been sold nationwide.
For four years now, families with their own TVplus box have enjoyed more options as TVplus channels continued to improve its lineup of channels and shows. Today, they are among the most watched in DTT households, according to Kantar Media’s Q2 2019 data.
CineMo, which gives male viewers many choices of action-packed movies, is now the third most-watched, while YeY, where Filipino kids learn and have fun at the same time, is now the fourth most watched channel among DTT households nationwide.
Following closely in the fifth until eighth spots on the list are sports-packed ABS-CBN S+A, the go-to channel for movie marathons Movie Central, home of binge-worthy K-dramas Asianovela Channel, and the nostalgia-inspiring Jeepney TV.
With 8 million boxes sold, ABS-CBN is on track in leading the Philippines’ migration from analog to digital before the government mandated deadline to all broadcasting networks to switch to digital by 2023.
In June 2019, ABS-CBN continued to transform the TV viewing experience of Filipinos as it launched the mobile version of TVplus called ABS-CBN TVplus Go, which enables Android smartphone users to watch Kapamilya programs anywhere in TVplus coverage areas.

ABS-CBN TVplus has 16 coverage areas including Metro Manila, Bulacan, Batangas, Nueva Ecija, Pangasinan, Rizal, Laguna, Pampanga, Tarlac, Benguet, Cavite, Metro Cebu, Cagayan De Oro, Iloilo, Bacolod, and Davao.
ABS-CBN, which is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company, is the first media and entertainment company in the country to make the historic switch from analog to digital terrestrial television or DTT via ABS-CBN TVplus.
