“U-Town” returns for fourth season on ABS-CBN S+A and iWant

The UAAP is back and so are Robi Domingo, Gretchen Ho, and Alyssa Valdez, who will once again tour the eight campuses in the country’s premier collegiate league to feature the pride and legacy of each institution in “University Town” (U-Town).

First up in the show this Saturday (September 7) at 1 pm on S+A and iWant is the home of the Soaring Falcons, the Adamson University, which has produced great athletes such as former Metropolitan Basketball Association MVP Eddie Laure and current Creamline Cool Smashers spiker Jema Galanza.

Eddie, the proud father of rising volleyball stars EJ and Eya Laure, and Jema, the big sister of EJ and Eya’s teammate Mafe, will look back on their beginnings as young athletes in Adamson, and share how their school helped them fulfill their dreams.

Not to be outdone, Adamson’s current basketball star athletes Jerrick Ahanmisi, Simon Camacho, and Jerome Lastimosa will also join Robi, Gretchen, and Alyssa in the episode as they share tips on how to survive college life in the segment “Campus Hacks.”

Alyssa will also train with the undisputed queens of UAAP softball, the Adamson women’s softball team, who have brought home the crown to their school for ten years! The former UAAP volleyball MVP will be bringing with her kids to learn the sport from the champions, making the session even more meaningful.

Like in previous seasons, “U-Town,” will also put the spotlight on students who are excelling in fields outside sports. For Adamson, it is Mechatronics major Michelangelo Barroga and his teammates in the group Exoid One Robotics, who recently won in an international robotic competition. The living proof of the strength of their school’s Mechanical Engineering program, Michelangelo will also share about their group’s advocacy, which makes them truly worthy to be called “University Lodi.”

Get into the UAAP Season 82 fever and join Robi Domingo, Gretchen Ho, and Alyssa Valdez explore the Adamson University this Saturday (September 7) at 1 pm on “U-Town” on S+A and iWant.
