“PBB Connect” housemate Justin Dizon has apologized to fellow housemate Jie-Ann Armero after realizing his mistake in joking about his housemate not taking daily baths.

“I really lacked understanding na we don’t live in the same house. If ever you felt offended with those jokes, I wanna say sorry. I forgot to realize na iba tayo ng environment. I wanna say sorry because they were insensitive. I’ll try my best to be more sensitive with how you feel,” he told Jie-Ann.

Justin also shared with Big Brother that he had a quick introspection. He said, “It’s still a responsibility to accept your mistake and learn something about it. Apologize and magkaroon ka ng character development,” he explained.

In Friday’s (December 18) episode, Justin approached Jie-Ann who was being comforted by other housemates after she was seen feeling down. The “Kwelang Fangirl ng Sarangani” then explained why she isn’t used to taking daily baths as her family needs to save water in their home.

Jie-Ann already shared with Kuya that they have to buy clean water in their province in Sarangani. Justin and the other housemates then apologized to Jie-Ann as they didn’t think about her situation before.

Justin and Jie-Ann became a hot topic recently after a clip in a “PBB Connect” livestream went viral where netizens saw Justin say hurtful remarks to Jie-Ann in relation to her bathing habits.

After Big Brother talked to the housemates, he also emphasized the importance of respect and understanding. He said that more than hoping that the housemates will develop a closer bond, he hopes that they will learn to respect and understand each other because they grew up with different backgrounds and struggles.

Meanwhile, the season’s 15th housemate, Ralph Malibuna (Ang Na-Nice Boy Nanny ng France), has been introduced during the “PBB Kumunect Tayo Afternoon Show” hosted by Melai Cantiveros and Enchong Dee. Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo also shared another good news that there are only 14 aspiring housemates left in Kumu who have a chance to enter the “PBB” house during their “PBB Kumunect Tayo” sa primetime show.
