Game changer: "Dirty Linen" leaves lasting impact on viewers, draws billions of views online

“Dirty Linen,” ABS-CBN’s hit revenge drama series that rakes in billions of online views, is gearing up for an explosive finale after months of treating viewers to a riveting storyline, together with a powerhouse cast, that will definitely leave a lasting impact on viewers. 

The series took the social media world by storm when it premiered in January 2023. Viewers highly praised its intriguing story, as well as its spectacular ensemble of cast that pioneered the viral “mata-mata acting,” a term used to applaud the actors for expressing a range of emotions using only their eyes. 

Janine Gutierrez and Zanjoe Marudo led the cast in expressing their gratitude for being a part of a game-changing teleserye that has amassed over 2.3 billion views on TikTok alone and is consistently the most watched series on iWantTFC.

“Surreal na naging parte ako ng ganitong klaseng level ng cast. Ito na siguro ‘yung favorite kong role kasi ang dami niyang layers. Sobrang thankful ako na pinagkatiwalaan ako to play Alexa. Sobrang dream come true,” said Janine who described her role as “the best gift” as a Kapamilya actress during the series’ recent mediacon. 

Zanjoe, meanwhile, commended the team behind “Dirty Linen” for elevating the standards in making a teleserye.

“Pinapanood ko siya bilang part ng show and bilang audience din na naho-hook sa istorya. Kudos sa musical director na sobrang galing. Tinulungan nila kaming gumaling. Gusto kong magpasalamat sa lahat ng cast, production, at sa mga direktor ko,” shared Zanjoe. 

Meanwhile, cast members Janine, Zanjoe, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, John Arcilla, and Tessie Tomas, together with Jed Madela, will be going to America to give thanks to viewers for their unwavering support. Kapamilya presents Dirty Linen sa America.”

With “Dirty Linen’s” highly-anticipated conclusion this week, viewers can expect a rollercoaster ride of emotions showcasing even more trending confrontation scenes and shocking plot twists.

The finale will finally give answers to the long-kept dirty secrets of the Fiero family, while it will also be determined if Alexa’s (Janine) revenge was enough to give justice to their loved ones who died in the hands of the Fieros.
