PH Embassy in UK condemns 'heartless' mosque attack

MANILA - The Philippine Embassy in United Kingdom condemned on Monday the attack at Finsbury Park mosque.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, the Embassy called the attack "heartless" as it sends its prayers to all those affected.

The Embassy has yet to receive reports of any Filipino affected during the attack. It also called on Filipinos who might need assistance following the incident to contact their office.

Several people were injured in north London early on Monday after reports that a vehicle rammed into pedestrians, British police said.

The incident followed a series of attacks in Britain.
