<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/voAoMOUEL-8" width="560"></iframe></figure>Felina Salinas, the Hawaii representative of the Philippine-based Kingdom of Jesus Christ Church, is set to go on trial starting October 2, this year in Honolulu.Salinas was indicted on Thursday by a federal grand jury, charged with cash smuggling more than 350,000 US dollars and 9,000 Australian dollars out of the US on February 13th. The issue was if she even knew the money was in the suitcase. And basically, they said she conspired to help the pastor to get money out of the country,” said her lawyer Michael Green.Salinas’ lawyer told Balitang America that they would be filing motions of dismissal once they get all the reports from federal agents.“The money that’s in there, quite frankly, belongs to the church. And it’s money that they rightfully had. But that’s a different issue. I mean they are accusing her of things without having the full facts so obviously she plead not guilty and we’re planning on fighting the charges,” Green said.Green said he expects that the trial date might even be postponed until next year.Meanwhile, Salinas will be back in court soon to request the removal of the electronic monitoring device that she has been required to wear since being released on bond in February.“The reason for that is because you know the government’s concern that they have the ability to lease a jet or on their own plane to fly people out of the country. Their feeling is if she winds up in the Philippines, there’s no way to get her back here,” added Green.Green said he is not surprised to hear that money is being brought back to the Philippines since that’s where the church is based.“I think the money that goes back there from what I understand is to educate young people and to help people who are in poverty and to do good works for those people and this is what this pastor is all about, and that is what the church is all about,” he said.According to the Honolulu Star Advertiser, Green said that his client was not given a Miranda warning before she was questioned and he plans to ask the court to throw out her statement.Quiboloy’s lawyer has insisted that his client was never named in the indictment and has said that the Davao-based pastor was never a subject in any case in Hawaii.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/02/16/18/palace-hands-off-on-quiboloys-woes">Palace hands off on Quiboloy’s woes</a></li></ul>Read more on <a href="http://www.balitangamerica.tv/">Balitang America</a>.
