He and his sister Pats eventually followed their mom to the US when he was 18, where he used to take on various odd jobs until he decided to go back to the Philippines to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. Not much is known about his family but based on the photos in this gallery, we can say that he has remained tightly bonded with them despite his status and his busyness with work.
