<div></div>Isinailalim na sa state of calamity ang bayan ng Solsona, Ilocos Norte dahil sa epekto ng El Niño.Ito ay base sa rekomendasyon ng Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).Ayon kay Vice Mayor Jhong Delara, umaabot na kasi sa mahigit 60 porsyento ang nasira sa agrikultura sa bayan dahil sa kakulangan ng tubig at matinding init.Nagkukulang na rin aniya ng tubig sa 7 barangay ng bayan at nirarasyunan na sila ng lokal na pamahalaan ng tubig.Matapos ideklara ang state of calamity, magagamit ang calamity fund ng munisipyo at mga barangay sa pagtugon ng pangangailangan ng mga mamamayan, lalong-lalo na ang mga magsasaka.
