<p><strong>(UPDATE)</strong> The new local officials of Bamban, Tarlac, were sworn in Thursday afternoon before the Department of Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos.</p><p>Godofredo Lumboy was sworn in as acting vice mayor, while Ferdinand Sibal, Fernando David, Jackson Delos Reyes, Mabel Cojuangco, and Tee Jay Sibal took their oaths as acting Sanggunian members.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FabscbnNEWS%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02HvLjfbPjNmfg75Jkr4K8FaVnrfacgr5ZfwACAypPxyMY2BezASgQLTS4Yyt8Z66Al&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="406" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>The Office of the Ombudsman ordered former Bamban Mayor Alice Guo dismissed from government service earlier this month for grave misconduct for her involvement in an illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator in Bamban.</p><p>Guo is facing a human trafficking complaint at the Department of Justice and is subject to a quo warranto petition from the Office of the Solicitor General over questions on her citizenship.</p><p>According to the National Bureau of Investigation, Guo is actually Chinese national Guo Hua Ping based on their matching fingerprints.</p>
