Photo courtesy of the PBA Media Bureau </div></figure></div>MANILA, Philippines – Michael Calisaan and Paul Desiderio shone in their debut for Café France as they carried the Bakers to an 83-67 victory over Tanduay in the 2017 PBA D-League Aspirants Cup on Monday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.The pair was instrumental in helping Café France build a 26-point lead, 61-35, in the third quarter.The Rhum Masters battled back in the final period, cutting the deficit to just six points, but Desiderio took charge down the stretch.The University of the Philippines star anchored a 16-6 Café France run to end the game and seal the victory for his team.Calisaan had 23 points and seven boards, while Desiderio scored 16 points, seven of which came in the final eight minutes, to go along with six rebounds.&quot;My recruits stepped up and that&#x27;s positive for us,&quot; said Café France coach Egay Macaraya. &quot;Hopefully, that continues and everybody starts jelling. If that happens, it will be a good season for us,&quot; he added.Congolese center Rod Ebondo had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds for the Bakers.
