He also edged Alaska&#x27;s Kevin Racal, San Miguel&#x27;s June Mar Fajardo, GlobalPort&#x27;s Terrence Romeo, and TNT&#x27;s Roger Pogoy for the award.The former University of Santo Tomas swingman bucked a scoreless first period and found his stroke in the final three quarters of Star&#x27;s 111-95 rout of Blackwater last Wednesday. He went on to finish with a season-high 26 points built around five triples.Three days later, Maliksi went on to preside over Star&#x27;s merciless 120-73 beatdown of Meralco. He had 17 of his 25 points in the first half, setting the tone for the lopsided victory.With only one playdate remaining in the All-Filipino Conference&#x27;s elimination round, Star has a chance to snare the No. 2 seed with a victory over Mahindra on Wednesday coupled by a Rain or Shine win over Alaska.
